The Running Springs Fire Department covers a 52 square mile area from Lake View Point overlooking the Big Bear Valley, to the Heaps Peak Dump Twoards Lake Arrowhead, and down to the Lower Passing Lanes of State Highway 330.

The Running Springs Fire Department frequently will respond with our surrounding cooperators under a mutual aid agreement. These include the San Bernardino County Fire Department, United States Forest Service, CalFire, and Arrowbear Fire.
